Making contact

Hi!

I hope everyone is doing well.  This extended break is very difficult for all of us.  I miss my students and families very much.  If you need help, please feel free to contact me.

I wanted to reach out to every family to let them know the plans for finishing the year.  It is certainly not a perfect plan, but it is important that every student has the opportunity to learn.

Over the next couple of days, I will be contacting every family to talk about the plan.  One part of the plan is to make available a packet of work to do at home.  The last day of school will be May 29th.  This packet would be turned in a couple weeks before the end of the year.   During that time, it will be my responsibility to contact you a couple times a week to check in with progress and help if needed.

The packet could be more than 50 pages.  You will have a choice to either pick up a printed version of the packet or download the packet from a district website.   I need to know by Friday morning if you want the printed packet, or if you will download the packet, so that I can order the proper number. The packet will be available the week of April 13th.

It would be a great help to me if you would text me at 916-799-4497 and let me know when the best time would be to call.    If you already know that you want a printed packet, or if you want to download the packet, you can include that in the text.

I hope to talk to you soon!

Thank you for your patience and support,

Steven Howe
