Welcome to Kindergarten! School will be starting soon, and I am looking forward to meeting you and your child. There will be a Kindergarten preview for my class on Wednesday, July 17th at 3pm. That would be a great time to meet me and to see the classroom. I will be available to answer questions you might have. The beginning of Kindergarten is an anxious time for parents, students, and teachers! I have found that spending some time talking before school starts relieves some of that anxiety. My room is located at the end of the walkway on the left, past rooms K-1, K-2, and CDI. The room number is R-1.
It is very important to me that we establish good communications with each other from the very beginning of the school year. Please take a moment to text, call, or email me at your convenience (before school starts). I have found that if you text me your child’s name, I can add your number to my phone contact list, which makes communication much easier. I would enjoy learning more about your family.

If I am not available, please leave a message with your phone number and the best time to call, and I will get back to you as soon as I can. A text to my cell phone is usually the best choice.
