To qualify for the BEAR Club, students must know every letter of the alphabet, every letter sound, and at least 20 High Frequency words. The Grizzly BEAR Club is the next level, and requires students to know all 49 Kindergarten high frequency words. The Polar BEAR Club is the highest level in Kindergarten. It requires students to know at least 100 high frequency words. The student must also read a level “D” book to the class without assistance.
